Brenda’s Writing

My mother, Brenda Joyce Marshall, was a talented writer, who unfortunately never found time to think about publishing anything. Sadly she died before the days of blogging, as a quick daily entry could probably have been squeezed into her busy timetable and would have allowed a wider audience to enjoy her skill with words.

She wrote stories for children and several non-fiction pieces, some for her grandchildren and some concerned with her childhood and family life.

Memories

Bears I have known

Hag-stones and Thurle stones

Tales of Hocker’s Farm

Alexander and the Gate

The Donkey who wore boots
